The Dental Assistant Certificate Program was first introduced in the 2013 academic year as a one-year training program that includes both theoretical and practical learning.

In addition to training alongside dental students, dental assistant students gain hands-on experience by working in specialized clinics and participating in the Royal Dental Service Units to develop a strong sense of public service.

This program aims to expand educational and career opportunities in public health while addressing the shortage of dental professionals in the workforce.
