MC of Thammasat

MC of Thammasat is the one and only emcee club at Thammasat University, established nearly a decade ago. The club was founded with the purpose of selecting individuals who are passionate about public speaking and hosting events, in order to serve as emcees for both internal university events and external functions.

Over the years, MC of Thammasat has consistently demonstrated exceptional hosting skills, earning trust and recognition for taking on important roles at a wide range of events. These include key university functions such as student orientation, Wai Khru ceremonies, Freshy Games, and more. The club has also been entrusted with emceeing prestigious events beyond the university.

Each generation of MC of Thammasat members undergoes rigorous training in emceeing techniques, voice control, improvisation, and teamwork. This intensive preparation ensures that every member becomes a high-quality host, capable of performing with the professionalism expected of a true master of ceremonies.

Gotjis Story: A Dream to Become an MC

Gotji is a student who has always dreamed of becoming a master of ceremonies. Upon entering Thammasat University, the first club that caught Gotjis eye at the orientation event was none other than the MC of Thammasat. From that very day, Gotji made a promise to one day stand on that stage as a representative of MC of Thammasat.

Fueled by this strong passion, Gotji decided to apply and compete for a position in the club. Out of 500 applicants, only 15 were selectedand Gotji was one of them. However, passing the selection was just the beginning. Becoming a true MC was far more challenging than expected. Over the course of nearly a year of service, Gotji had to undergo intense training to develop into a professional emcee.

MC of Thammasat became a home where Gotji cultivated skills that would be hard to find anywhere else. During this journey, Gotji learned a wide range of emceeing techniquesfrom voice modulation and stage management to handling unexpected situations with poise. More than just training to become a good MC, Gotji found a family. Every member of MC of Thammasat became part of a warm, supportive community. They not only helped each other improve their abilities but also offered honest feedback, celebrated each other's successes, and were always a source of encouragement.

Gotji was entrusted with hosting numerous eventsformal, semi-formal, and recreationalfacing various on-stage challenges, meeting diverse groups of people, and experiencing many styles of working. Through it all, Gotji realized that these invaluable lessons were never taught in a classroom. This was hands-on experiencean opportunity to learn and grow. If Gotji had never pursued that dream, none of these experiences or cherished memories would have existed.

MC of Thammasat is a home that provides knowledge, trains skills, builds experience, and fosters friendships. It has always been, and will always be, a warm and welcoming place. The reason Gotji has become who they are today is because of MC of Thammasat.
